A nonprofit services organization in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Administrative professional to join their growing team as their new Executive Assistant.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: January
- Permanent Opportunity
- Salary: $85k-$105k
- Hours: 9am to 6pm (but need to be flexible)
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Heavy, complex calendar and gatekeeping
- Representing the principal to internal staff and external stakeholders including Board members, donors, and press
- Preparing daily and weekly agendas; preparing or ensuring the preparation of meeting agendas, materials, and talking points
- Booking travel (primarily domestic)
- Recording and processing expenses
- Light correspondence and research
- Document management and filing
- Assisting with Board meeting preparations and day-of staffing
- Assisting with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting C-Level staff and Executives
- Bachelor's Degree from a competitive US college or equivalent
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid problem-solving and time-management skills
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
